The BWY Heart of Yoga Awards 2024
Honouring the heroes of BWY’s community
To celebrate the outstanding achievements of our volunteers, nominations for the BWY Heart of Yoga Awards open on International Volunteers Day, Tuesday 5 December 2023. The awards champion the invaluable contributions of our volunteers, whose efforts play a crucial role in supporting our goal to promote a greater understanding of yoga and its safe practice to all.
BWY members generously donate their time to offer an outstanding choice of events, trainings and community initiatives. Their selfless service extends the reach of yoga to more people within the 12 communities served by BWY across the UK.
“The contributions of our volunteers often go unnoticed, visible only through the impact of their service,” says BWY Chair Di O’Reilly. “The Heart of Yoga Awards provides a meaningful platform to express our gratitude to our volunteers, who embody the true spirit of yoga within our communities.”
Only BWY members can nominate their local heroes for recognition at these awards. Details of the awards and how to nominate can be found here. You can also get inspiration from the previous winners here. For guidance on making your nomination a success, please refer to our FAQs in Membership Resources.
The deadline for submitting entries is Wednesday 31 January 2024. Award winners will be announced at the BWY Annual General Meeting in May.
