VACANCIES

We’re looking for the best candidates to help us to promote the greater understanding of yoga and its safe practice through education, experience, study and training.

Could you be a BWY volunteer?

BWY is a volunteers-led organisation where our grassroots network of yoga communities come together to create and develop yoga events and training opportunities.

There are a range of opportunities to support at a local level, from donating a few hours of support to help run or host an event, or getting involved with a BWY region/nation’s committee in your area.

If you’re interested in getting involved in yoga in your area, get in touch with the Regional/National Officer near you by clicking on the relevant community page from the top menu. Here you will also see the current vacancies for volunteers in each area.

Do you have the expertise to be a part of the BWY Board of Trustees?

Treasurer
The British Wheel of yoga is looking for a talented finance professional to join its Board of Trustees.
The Treasurer is a key role in the organisation’s governance, being the link between the Board of Trustees and the staff Finance team. You will take  a lead role in developing and monitoring the  delivery of the  Board’s financial strategy  and  helping your fellow Trustees to  fulfil  their financial and fiduciary duties.
The BWY Board is a dynamic and  collegial environment, and  the Trustees are enthusiastic about the BWY’s future as it reinvents its  business model in response to a changing and challenging external environment.
We are looking  for an enthusiastic and experienced finance professional (not necessarily a qualified accountant)  who understands the role and  responsibilities of a charity trustee, although you do not need to have  been  a  trustee before.
To express an  interest in this volunteer trustee role, please send a CV and covering letter to ceo@bwy.org.uk for the attention of the CEO, Peter Tyldesley.
Closing date for expressions of interest: Friday 10th April.
